THA: Other - 12-2026 - Tensions between Thailand - Cambodia Border

According to the TRCS’ summary report no. 1 – Humanitarian Assistance for people affected by tension along the Thailand – Cambodia Border, In 2025, renewed tensions along the Thailand–Cambodia border resulted in two periods of armed hostilities, occurring in July and December, which had serious humanitarian consequences for civilian populations. Several border provinces experienced displacement, disruption of essential services, and damage to civilian infrastructure, including health and education facilities.

As a result, over 40 civilian fatalities with dozens injured, 199 hospitals and 892 schools were affected. Displacement surged dramatically. About 400,000 people had to leave their homes to take shelters in more than 1,000 facilities set up by the local authorities. While a ceasefire was agreed at the end of December 2025, some families remain unable to return home due to safety concerns, including the presence of unexploded ordnance. Humanitarian needs persist, particularly in relation to shelter, health, protection, and basic services.

JOR: Complex Emergency - 03-2026 - JNRCS Complex Emergency - Regional Conflict 10/3/2026
JNRCS continues to closely monitor the evolving regional situation and its potential implications for Jordan. Due to the ongoing regional escalation and the interception of missiles and drones crossing Jordanian airspace, the Kingdom has witnessed a number of incidents involving falling missile debris, fragments, and shrapnel across several governorates. According to national authorities the civil defense and security teams have responded to over 200 reported incidents of falling debris and missile fragments across the country in recent days, affecting areas including Amman, Zarqa, Irbid, Madaba, Jerash, Mafraq, and Aqaba. These incidents have resulted in at least 14 reported injuries, in addition to several cases of material damage to residential buildings, agricultural land, and vehicles.
While most incidents have not resulted in severe casualties, the situation continues to present several public safety and operational risks, including:
• Potential injuries or fatalities from falling debris and shrapnel.
• The presence of unidentified or unexploded military remnants that may fall in populated or agricultural areas.
• Public panic and misinformation due to visible aerial interceptions and falling fragments.
• Possible disruptions to daily life and local services in affected communities.
• Increased pressure on emergency response services if incidents escalate.
